Counselling is provided in a safe and supportive environment and can help by offering you time and space to speak your mind and express your emotions without fear of judgement.

Much of the time we will deal with problems based on past experiences, which are often carried from childhood into adulthood.

While we can’t alter what has already happened, we can improve our understanding of the past, gain insight into the present and take greater control of our future.

Whatever is on our minds, counselling can help us to make sense of difficult issues and take positive steps to resolve them; by offering support, clarity and the development of self-awareness.

You will be encouraged to draw upon your own inner resources and the counselling process will support you in developing self-acceptance and help towards making positive changes in your life.

Through the relationship that is built between you and your therapist, you will develop a better understanding of yourself and gain insight into how you interact with others.
